About the Role
Multiverse is seeking a Senior Leader of Product Marketing to own the positioning, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategy for enterprise AI solutions. This role translates complex technical capabilities into credible value propositions for buyers, supports the sales team, and influences product roadmap and pricing decisions. The position requires working within the current sales-driven growth model while helping to shape future demand generation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define and defend category narrative and product positioning, translating technical AI capabilities into value claims that withstand scrutiny from technical buyers, procurement, and security reviews.
- Own messaging architecture across product lines, ensuring consistency as the portfolio expands.
- Manage competitive intelligence, including win-loss analysis, competitor tracking, and technical benchmarking, to inform product roadmap and pricing decisions.
- Develop lightweight, repeatable processes for incorporating customer voice and insights into product development and launches.
- Own launch strategy and sequencing, partnering with Product on roadmap-to-revenue sequencing to ensure go-to-market readiness.
- Define and report on launch success metrics to executive leadership.
- Champion and structure the shift towards faster product launches and iteration based on real performance.
- Equip Sales with best-in-class collateral, tools, and enablement, and provide direct support for strategic deals where positioning or competitive dynamics are blockers.
- Own strategic decisions on positioning, enablement, and go-to-market motion for Sales leadership.
- Provide evidence-based input on pricing and packaging based on willingness-to-pay, competitive dynamics, and customer research.
- Build, hire, and develop a product marketing team, setting the operating rhythm and tools for the function, including leveraging AI to enhance team velocity and rigor.
- Represent product marketing in executive and board-level conversations regarding market position and competitive dynamics.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership, creating healthy tension and advocating for product marketing priorities when necessary.
Requirements
- 8+ years in product marketing, including 2+ years in people leadership.
- Track record of owning positioning and GTM strategy for complex technical B2B/B2B2C products (enterprise SaaS and/or AI/ML strongly preferred).
- Ability to work confidently alongside engineering and product, translating technical complexity into buyer value and revenue opportunity.
- Strong quantitative instincts and proven partnership across Product/tech, Sales, and Finance on roadmap, deal strategy, and monetization.
- Executive presence, with experience presenting market/competitive strategy to C-suite or board audiences.
- Proven experience operating at scale-up pace, building processes and infrastructure from scratch with a lean team.
- Innovator and experimenter, seeking new trends and technology to scale team impact.
- Comfortable with and motivated by high-expectations stakeholders, earning and retaining trust in difficult situations.
- Positive-sum mentality, balancing hands-on execution with big-picture reflection.
- High internal expectations for what is possible and the ability to bring others along.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI tools in personal workflow (competitive research, content drafting, win-loss synthesis).
