About the Role
As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will be central to the company's operations and decision-making processes. You will manage the operating cadence, lead cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion, and handle tasks that allow the CEO to focus on high-impact issues. This role requires comfort with financial data, organizational strategy, and driving work to closure, leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Own the company-wide operating cadence, including all-hands meetings, Executive Leadership Team meetings, and quarterly offsites, managing agenda-setting, logistics, notetaking, and follow-through.
- Oversee the company's goal-setting process from framework design and OKR cycle coordination to progress tracking and accountability.
- Drive alignment and accountability across the Executive Leadership Team to ensure focus on high-priority challenges and urgent execution.
- Triage and manage competing priorities for the CEO by synthesizing complex inputs, framing decision options, and surfacing key insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to diagnose business challenges and recommend scalable solutions.
- Partner with Finance on review cycles and headcount analysis, translating financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for the CEO.
- Lead and project manage company-wide strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to drive decisions and action.
- Develop and document internal processes for communications, operations, and other organizational needs.
- Collaborate with the CEO's Executive Assistant to manage the CEO's calendar, prioritizing tasks and meetings according to organizational goals.
- Act as a key liaison between the CEO, the Executive Leadership Team, and external partners, adapting communication to build trust and accelerate decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to interpret P&L statements and headcount plans, translating financial data into clear executive recommendations.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs end-to-end, with expertise in establishing systems for progress and accountability tracking.
- Strong familiarity with AI-enabled tools and a willingness to champion AI adoption.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including building analyses, interpreting data trends, and presenting actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated commitment to honesty, ethical conduct, and maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality.
