About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is a new field leadership role focused on supporting Sephora USA retail growth, increasing market share, and enhancing field execution. The RSM will collaborate with Account Executives to drive sales, develop talent, implement business strategies, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales results and identify growth opportunities in Sephora US stores.
- Execute regional business plans and sales initiatives to meet revenue targets.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.
- Provide feedback on sales strategies, promotions, training, and selling tools.
- Partner with Sr Sales Director to manage regional budgets for freelance, events, and field activations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regional business performance, including sales trends and forecasts.
- Plan and secure high-impact events and training initiatives, ensuring flawless execution.
- Share field insights and recommendations to support business growth.
- Conduct regular store visits (in-person and virtual) to assess performance and support execution.
- Observe customer interactions to ensure brand standards and customer experience expectations are met.
- Lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging innovation and ownership.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through engaging in-store experiences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sephora store leadership.
- Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising, operational standards, and brand initiatives.
- Travel monthly across all regions to support business needs.
- Coach and develop Account Executives to improve performance and business acumen.
- Support professional growth of field teams through feedback and development planning.
- Partner with L’Occitane regional field training teams to execute education strategies.
- Ensure Account Executives and Freelance Brand Ambassadors are trained on brand standards and company policies.
- Deliver product education, selling techniques, and best practices to support customer engagement.
- Demonstrate accountability and ownership in achieving business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Lead with integrity, humility, and professionalism, embodying company values.
- Prioritize business needs and address performance opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or similar work experience in a retail business field.
- 7+ years of progressive retail experience.
- Sephora experience is required.
- Multi-unit retail experience and/or equivalent sales volume management experience required.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to deliver results through a high-performing team of leaders.
- Proven record of people development and succession planning.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
