About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and experienced Social Worker to support customers and colleagues. This role is crucial for assisting energy specialists who manage complex customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and support plans for customers with various needs.
  • Refer customers to local authorities when appropriate and identify safeguarding concerns.
  • Assess customer needs and ability to pay, recommending the best course of action.
  • Signpost customers to resources and recommend appropriate support packages.
  • Conduct customer follow-ups to ensure case resolution.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and make relevant referrals.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing dynamic support to energy specialists.

Requirements

  • Social Work Degree and current registration with Social Work England.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualifying Social Work experience or equivalent.
  • ASYE required.
  • Experience working within the adult social care sector.
  • Experience working within a mental health team is desirable.
  • Ability to use initiative to tackle sensitive customer scenarios.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues.
  • Comfortable applying Social Worker skills to a new industry.
  • Driver with access to a car or willing to occasionally travel to different locations is preferred.
