About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, empathetic, and experienced Social Worker to support customers and colleagues. This role is crucial for assisting energy specialists who manage complex customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and support plans for customers with various needs.
- Refer customers to local authorities when appropriate and identify safeguarding concerns.
- Assess customer needs and ability to pay, recommending the best course of action.
- Signpost customers to resources and recommend appropriate support packages.
- Conduct customer follow-ups to ensure case resolution.
- Collaborate with other agencies and make relevant referrals.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide ongoing dynamic support to energy specialists.
Requirements
- Social Work Degree and current registration with Social Work England.
- Minimum of 5 years post-qualifying Social Work experience or equivalent.
- ASYE required.
- Experience working within the adult social care sector.
- Experience working within a mental health team is desirable.
- Ability to use initiative to tackle sensitive customer scenarios.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues.
- Comfortable applying Social Worker skills to a new industry.
- Driver with access to a car or willing to occasionally travel to different locations is preferred.
