About the Role
Rippling is seeking a marketer to build and lead the marketing engine for its Private Equity (PE) channel. This greenfield opportunity involves developing strategies, systems, and programs to drive awareness, generate pipeline, and establish Rippling as the preferred operational platform for PE firms and their portfolio companies. The role requires autonomy and strategic ownership, working closely with PE Partnerships and GTM leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the Private Equity channel marketing strategy, including vision, roadmap, and operating plan.
- Serve as the primary marketing voice for PE in cross-functional forums.
- Translate channel needs into budget priorities, program plans, and go-to-market motions.
- Partner closely with the PE Partnerships Manager and GTM team to align marketing efforts.
- Lead Product Marketing for the PE channel, defining positioning and messaging.
- Build the full enablement suite for the PE audience.
- Synthesize win/loss data, partner feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Own the brand story for the PE segment.
- Develop a content strategy tailored to the PE journey.
- Create thought leadership content for sophisticated financial buyers.
- Build co-marketing activations with marquee PE firms.
- Design and execute integrated demand generation campaigns targeting PE firms.
- Own an ABM motion against a prioritized list of high-value firms.
- Define the channel's physical presence at industry events and forums.
- Build scalable event playbooks.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between PE channel marketing and the broader GTM organization.
- Coordinate with channel marketing leaders across the organization to share best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor across multiple marketing disciplines.
- Track record of building channel, partner, or ecosystem marketing programs from the ground up.
- Experience in a 0-to-1 or early-stage channel environment.
- Full-stack marketing fluency, including demand gen, product marketing, content, and field marketing.
- Strong ABM foundation with experience designing and running account-based programs.
- Sharp positioning thinker capable of translating complex value into executive-level narratives.
- Highly collaborative operator skilled in influencing and aligning cross-functionally without formal authority.
- Analytical instincts with experience building measurement frameworks and setting OKRs.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and pace, able to build systems while running programs.
- Thrives when writing the playbook from scratch.
