About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their time.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed.
- Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, rails, booths, offices, and restrooms.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility.
- Paint facility areas as directed.
- Replace burned-out light bulbs.
- Apply absorbent to oil spills.
- Submit requests for necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Inspect safety items, such as gate arms, for proper condition.
- Check ticket spitters and gates daily for operational status, ticket supply, time accuracy, and appearance.
- Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
- Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Complete a garage/lot sweep sheet.
- Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment for repairs or construction.
- Remove snow from entrance/exit ramps and designated areas.
- Report any observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Practice customer satisfaction strategies and service behaviors.
- Assist customers as directed by the Facility Manager/Supervisor.
- Resolve customer complaints independently or with supervisor assistance.
- Understand all aspects of the operation and cover other duties as needed, such as cashier or attendant.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear the complete uniform during scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
- May require facility maintenance, electrical, and/or painting experience and/or skills training.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
- Ability to speak clearly, listen, and get clarification.
- Ability to respond effectively to questions.
- Ability to write clearly and informatively.
- Ability to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to respond to requests for service and assistance.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, and deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.

- Ability to twist, turn, stretch, and bend frequently.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
- Ability to move in a relatively quick manner.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to withstand working with dust, chemicals, and other possible irritants.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, heat).
