About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will leverage your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions, evaluate potential weaknesses, and assess the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions. You will aggregate threat feeds to inform senior leadership, research emerging technology, and develop strategies to meet organizational goals. This role involves working with decision-makers on technical implementations to sustain cybersecurity across multiple technology areas.

Responsibilities

  • Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions
  • Aggregate threat feeds to inform briefings for senior leadership
  • Support research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats
  • Develop strategies to meet organizational goals
  • Analyze system security implementations and application security
  • Provide recommendations to decision makers and engineers
  • Develop operation plans to support command and control
  • Assess and inform operators and senior leadership on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment, policy analysis, technology evaluations, and NIST security control validation

Requirements

  • Experience in a cybersecurity or computer field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration
  • Experience applying system security configurations to meet compliance standards
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices
  • Knowledge of Risk Management practices
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 Intermediate Certification within 120 days of start date
