About the Role

BGRE seeks an Analyst on its Regional FP&A team for the North America Office portfolio. This role will deliver comprehensive financial forecasts, analyses, and strategic insights to support corporate planning, investment evaluation, and operational decision-making across a diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally while communicating complex financial data clearly and actionably.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets, discounted cash flows and valuation projections for corporate business plan
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly IFRS financial statement forecasting
  • Assist with preparing quarterly leasing forecast, which includes updates of actual leasing activity, forecasted leasing assumptions, and early tenant expirations
  • Help prepare financial analysis, market analysis and board presentations for management review
  • Work closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate with asset management, lease administration, corporate services, marketing, and investor relations
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis for management as needed
  • Analyze cash flow projection reports for existing properties
  • Accurately input all data for forecasting and reporting while performing a preliminary self-review

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 0-2 years relevant experience in Finance or accounting, ideally in the real estate industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Argus experience a plus
  • Familiarity with Yardi preferred
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to support analysis, reporting, and day-to-day work
  • Ability to quickly learn new analytic and reporting systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
  • Ability to handle large volume of work; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
