About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO AMS Consultant to join our Application Management Services practice, supporting customers in ongoing BAU and day-to-day operational support environments. This is a hands-on, customer-facing support role, not project-based work, and is ideally suited to a seasoned SAP FICO specialist who thrives in a structured support setting and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level SAP FICO functional support across AMS engagements, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests
- Engage directly with customers to understand, triage, and resolve support queries in a timely and professional manner
- Perform configuration, testing, and documentation activities within SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud environments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, identifying recurring issues and recommending lasting solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure SLAs and quality standards are consistently met
- Produce clear and accurate reporting on support activities, ticket status, and resolution progress for internal and client audiences
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, with demonstrated expertise in a functional consulting or functional architect capacity
- Strong background in AMS and support environments; candidates with primarily project-based backgrounds are not suited to this role
- Proficient in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud, with configuration and troubleshooting experience across core FICO modules
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally with customers
- Proven ability to produce meaningful reporting and documentation for support activities
- Experience working in customer-facing roles within a managed services or AMS context
