About the Role
Join a special task force, Project NOVA, to identify efficiency needs and develop cutting-edge AI and data management solutions for the energy industry. Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership, with full freedom to innovate across Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial/Process engineering tracks.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI/ML opportunities and gather data requirements.
- Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights, trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Document development processes, methodologies, and results for project reports.
- Present findings to stakeholders using visualizations and reports.
- Stay current with AI/ML advancements and bridge engineering and AI requirements.
- Apply AI/ML techniques using Azure Machine Learning.
- Analyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Assist in designing AI/ML algorithms to optimize industrial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Translate customer needs into technical specifications.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial/Process Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java; solid coding experience required.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate real-world engineering needs into technical specifications.
