About the Role

PrizePicks is seeking a Product Designer to own the GamePlay Live Sweat and Tracking experience, focusing on creating engaging live experiences that drive member retention and push the boundaries of the Daily Fantasy Sports industry.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full design lifecycle in the Live Tracking domain, from requirements gathering through ship and post-launch iteration.
  • Prototype at high fidelity and execute at the pixel level for Live Tracking surfaces.
  • Use AI, rapid prototyping, and iterative design to conceptualize and launch real-time surfaces.
  • Hold quality high through consistent critique, active contribution to design systems, and craft standards.
  • Build partnerships with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Social Design for live surfaces.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing mastery in visual craft, interaction design, and strategic thinking.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of creating emotionally engaging digital experiences.
  • Mastery of visual design principles (typography, layout, color theory) and passion for motion and micro-interactions.
  • Possess a "pixel-perfect" mindset.
  • Proven ability to translate abstract business goals and user needs into a compelling design vision and execution plan.
  • Ability to create simple experiences out of complex and interconnected systems.
  • Innate ability to understand user motivations and behaviors, considering usability and accessibility.
  • Utilize research, analytics, and customer insights to build customer knowledge.
  • Foundational understanding of frontend technologies and ability to foster a seamless handoff process with engineering.
  • Utilize AI to bridge gaps and build functional prototypes and demos.
  • Genuine interest in sports and the Daily Fantasy and prediction markets space.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
