About the Role

The pädquis Foundation conducts various (evaluation) studies focusing on quantitative methods of empirical social research in the field of institutional early childhood education. We are currently seeking student support for an evaluation study with a longitudinal design in early education.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in ongoing research projects.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, meeting preparation, and project material maintenance.
• Communicate with project partners, including Kita managers, educational specialists, and study participants via email and phone.
• Research and summarize scientific publications and legal frameworks (e.g., Kita laws).
• Create online surveys using SoSci Survey and support their implementation.
• Prepare datasets and conduct initial analyses, primarily using SPSS.
• Analyze interview and document materials, primarily using MAXQDA.
• Contribute to presentations and project reports.

Requirements

• Currently studying Early Childhood Education, Educational Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
• Interest in early childhood education issues, particularly institutional childcare.
• Experience with academic research and writing.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
• Structured and reliable work ethic.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to take responsibility.
