About the Role
This role combines patient advocacy and sales, focusing on helping patients accept needed dental care. It's ideal for individuals who are good with people, remain calm under pressure, and enjoy guiding patients to make positive health decisions.
Responsibilities
- Sit with patients after their exam and walk them through the doctor’s plan in human language.
- Translate between the clinical team and the financial side (insurance, financing, payment options).
- Own the follow-up process to ensure treatment is completed.
- Partner with scheduling to book accepted treatment.
- Achieve targets for case acceptance, scheduled production, and conversion.
Requirements
- 2+ years in treatment coordination, case presentation, patient finance, or a comparable patient-facing role with conversion goals.
- Ability to make clinical conversations feel human and not transactional.
- Comfortable with practice-management software (Open Dental a plus) and financing tools (CareCredit, Cherry, and similar).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dependable.
- Open to occasionally supporting other offices.
