About the Role

As a subject-matter expert on Cortea's UK go-to-market team, you will build credibility with commercial efforts by speaking with auditors as a peer, leading methodology discussions with prospects and customers, and fostering long-term partnerships. You will own trust, expertise, and account growth, while colleagues manage the sales playbook, forecasting, and deal mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Act as the audit subject-matter expert in Cortea's UK go-to-market unit, joining demos, pilots, and customer conversations.
• Be a key point of contact for UK customers throughout pilots and rollouts.
• Deepen relationships at existing customers, identify upsell opportunities, and lead methodology conversations that grow accounts.
• Build a visible public presence for Cortea by being active on LinkedIn, speaking at industry events, and evangelizing AI-supported auditing.
• Feed customer and market insight back to the product team to sharpen the UK roadmap.
• Travel regularly to our Berlin hub to work closely with the founders and GTM colleagues.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of financial audit experience (Big 4 or leading mid-tier firms preferred).
• ACA (ICAEW), ACCA, or equivalent chartered accountancy qualification.
• Confident, client-facing communicator who enjoys presenting, networking, and representing their firm publicly.
• Comfortable taking ownership in a young, fast-moving company, handling ambiguity, working towards clear commercial targets, and building processes.
• Strong grasp of ISA, UK GAAP, IFRS, and the Companies Act 2006.
• Native English speaker; German is a plus.
• Right to work in the UK required; visa sponsorship is not offered.
