About the Role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Pharmacists play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

Responsibilities

  • Have a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
  • Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
  • Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
  • Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
  • Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
  • Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
  • Current State licensure required.
  • BLS if required by State.

Education Level

  • Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.

Salary/Compensations

  • $65.00 per hour
