About the Role

This position is responsible for developing and executing account plans for new and/or existing small to mid-sized corporate accounts in an assigned territory. Expands revenue footprint with existing customers and prospects new business in order to close full solution sale to corporate customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect actively for new business opportunities with both new and existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Maintain a clean and up-to-date sales pipeline, aiming for 3 times coverage of sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Focus on companies with revenues of less than $500M, leading the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closing to renewal.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand customer challenges and demonstrate how solutions can address them.
  • Regularly update the CRM system (salesforce.com) to maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide reliable sales forecasts.
  • Engage in direct client meetings either in person or via platforms like MS Teams.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred with a minimum of 4 years direct field sales experience (corporate sector preferred).
  • Proven, exemplary track record of sales quota over achievement.
  • Experience in the FinTech space and/or selling data solutions is a plus.
  • Proven ability to sell complex technology solutions to small and medium companies (Less than $500M in revenue) using a consultative and value-based approach.
  • Experience with high velocity sales and land and expand approach.
  • Experience selling to C-level executives applying a solution selling approach.
  • Ability to identify business challenges and their impact.
  • Skilled in leading detailed sales processes involving various stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic about prospecting and able to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
  • Ability to develop and execute an account plan.
  • Able to work from a home office and travel to customer locations.
