About the Role
HTI Recycling, an Ecore company, transforms reclaimed rubber into innovative performance surfaces. We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Grinder Operator to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, performing grinding operations, fabricating and refurbishing blades, and supporting production across multiple machines. Candidates with CNC programming or coding experience are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machining equipment.
- Perform grinding operations and daily blade sharpening.
- Fabricate and refurbish industrial blades.
- Operate additional equipment, including Blanchard grinders, plasma cutting equipment, and other shop machinery as production needs require.
- Program and edit CNC machine controls using G-Code or CAM software (preferred).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
