About the Role

Responsibilities

• Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager.
• Administers medications to residents.
• Gives direct care to residents and performs treatments as indicated.
• Assures that physicians orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plan.
• Documents information on residents records according to policy and procedure.
• Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents.
• Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques.
• May be required to work as Charge Nurse.

Requirements

• Valid NYS license as a LPN.
• 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred.
• Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Able to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Work Type

• Full time
• Days (7am - 3pm)
• Weekends and holidays required

Salary/Compensations

• $27.25 - $35.00/hour
