About the Role
You will be a key contact for your designated market, providing valuable information and communication to our wholesale partners. You will support key accounts and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely flow of goods. A good working knowledge of different markets, shipping procedures, and retail functions is essential.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all orders are entered accurately and by deadlines, supporting colleagues as needed.
- Proactively follow up with BDM’s or customers to obtain orders and process order entry by Fred Perry deadlines.
- Send order acknowledgements to the BD team & wholesale partners for review, highlighting anomalies.
- Maintain sales orders by actioning redating, cancellations, and deletions to ensure system accuracy.
- Organize shipments for Blank Canvas & Collaboration products in time for specific launch dates.
- Validate customer ASNs against sales orders and highlight discrepancies.
- Update orders with new address and price details as required.
- Send customers order reports to provide visibility of outstanding orders.
- Highlight orders that have not been called in and provide necessary information to achieve delivery.
- Liaise with customers and departments to resolve queries or provide information.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and markets through communication and reporting.
- Understand stock allocation to fulfill orders and meet customer expectations, including seasonal transfers.
- Action planning shortfall & warehouse change reports in a timely manner.
- Note shortfalls in styles and delayed availability on weekly reports and share with BDM’s and customers.
- Liaise with Logistics, Planning and Production to ensure warehouse/factory notification of customer requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics and customers to secure delivery bookings.
- Prepare export shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists and proforma invoices.
- Create & manage consignments based on customer requirements and share with relevant Warehouse.
- Track and action stock despatch using shared warehouse reports.
- Investigate any shortages, overages or missing cartons with warehouses.
- Provide returns authorisation codes to customers as required.
- Monitor and update the returns monitor and raise credit notes.
- Review orders for shipment with credit control and BDM’s, rephasing orders as necessary.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and relationship development with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effective and pro-active problem solver.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and be self-organised.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Process driven.
- Experience in Microsoft products, including Excel.
- Must be able to work independently as well as being a team player.
- Previous experience within the wholesale / logistical environment advantageous.
