About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion, you may work with other companies' products in the stores you service.

Responsibilities

  • Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department using a mobile device.
  • Utilize technology for daily work, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and surveys.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Provide support during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) with potential for additional days and extended hours, including working on holidays and weekends.
  • Participate in department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating products, and resetting card sections, typically with two weeks' advance notice.
  • Support other team members in their territories as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
  • Must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Required to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday.
  • May be required to climb stairs and step ladders.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
  • Employment is contingent upon signing the Employment Agreement, signing an agreement to arbitrate, completing Form I-9, and successfully passing a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be lawfully authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is generally not provided.
