About the Role
Built Technologies is seeking to grow and strengthen the supply side of its vendor network by building outbound partnerships, commercial frameworks, and negotiating deals. This role will define the ideal partner profile, build commercial frameworks, negotiate and close deals, and design an operating model for scaling the network. The role can expand into demand-side, channel, data, and technology partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Design the Partnership Operating Model
- Build the end-to-end partner lifecycle: sourcing, qualification, contracting, onboarding, performance management, and renewal/expansion.
- Define partner tiers, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Create the operational infrastructure — onboarding playbooks, performance tracking, escalation paths — needed to run a growing vendor network without scaling headcount linearly.
- Grow and Strengthen the Supply-Side Network
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and close partnerships with inspection firms, appraisal companies, title and closing providers, environmental consultants, and other diligence vendors.
- Run a systematic outbound program across Built's existing vendor network to identify opportunities for improvement and/or service or pricing irregularities.
- Continuously identify, evaluate, and prioritize the next wave of service categories to bring into the Marketplace catalog.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to develop partnership agreement templates and vendor qualification criteria.
- Work with Product and Engineering to define the platform capabilities a scaled vendor network needs.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and speed.
- Use AI to support drafting, analysis, summarization, and problem-solving.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort through automation and AI.
- Apply AI to sharpen decision-making and strengthen strategic insights.
- Share effective AI use cases and best practices with your team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in supply-side partnerships, vendor management, procurement, or business development — ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, construction technology, or real estate services.
- Proven track record of building a partnership program or vendor network from scratch (0-to-1).
- Deep understanding of marketplace or platform economics — two-sided network effects, take rates, procurement margin, and partner unit economics.
- Experience negotiating and structuring commercial agreements: negotiated rates, volume-based pricing, referral fees, and RFP-driven bespoke pricing.
- Strong operational instincts — you build the process, the playbook, and the systems alongside the relationships.
- Ability to context-switch fluidly between strategic planning, commercial negotiation, and hands-on operational execution.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfort with data and analytics — you can size a partner opportunity, model the economics, and defend the numbers.
- Employees who are not based in the Nashville area are required to travel to our Nashville office at least twice per year for company gatherings.
- Additional travel to Nashville may be required based on your role and business needs.

About the Company
- Built's Mission: Connect and simplify doing business in real estate.
- Built is the AI-powered platform transforming the way real estate is financed, developed, and managed.
- Purpose-built for real estate and construction, Built began by fixing construction draw management for lenders and has grown into a comprehensive operating system addressing some of the industry’s most complex challenges.
- Today, Built is a partner to more than 350 lenders, over 80,000 borrowers and owners, and thousands of contractors, powering 86,000 active projects valued at more than $300 billion.
- Built Technologies is the AI-first platform for construction and real estate finance, managing over $300 billion in annual capital for more than 340 lenders — including 45 of the top 100 U.S. banks.
- Built's Marketplace connects the capital that funds construction with the services that get projects built — inspection firms, appraisers, environmental consultants, title and closing providers, materials suppliers, and specialty diligence vendors — creating a single embedded layer where lenders, owners, and general contractors can procure, manage, and pay for project services without leaving the platform.
- Built brings together passionate people who are driven in a variety of disciplines, each bringing their unique perspective to everything they do.
