About the Role

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for managing pharmacy operations and services for areas of moderate size, volume, and complexity, or multiple sites within the Mayo Clinic Health System. This role involves providing strong leadership, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional strategic vision, and meeting quality, legal, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Managing pharmacy operations and services.
  • Providing strong, visible, values-driven leadership and advocacy for pharmacy.
  • Ensuring pharmacy operations are aligned with the overall department program.
  • Incorporating best practices to emphasize patient safety and optimized outcomes.
  • Delivering the highest value care to patients and the organization.
  • Ensuring incorporation, alignment with, and support of departmental and institutional strategic vision, direction, and priorities.
  • Managing pharmacy services to meet or exceed all quality, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
  • Actively participating in and supporting pharmacy education programs and scholarly activity.
