About the Role
We are seeking a data-driven and customer-oriented Customer Lifecycle Manager to elevate retention and reactivation for our German market. In this role, you will be responsible for the CRM strategy and implementation for existing customers, driving engagement, repeat bookings, customer lifetime value, and win-back performance. You will work at the intersection of Marketing, Data, Product, and Customer Operations to deliver highly personalized customer journeys that strengthen customer loyalty and maximize retention. The ideal candidate combines analytical precision with strong campaign execution skills and a passion for understanding customer behavior.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the CRM strategy to increase reactivation, retention, booking frequency, and CLV.
- You conceptualize, implement, and optimize personalized lifecycle journeys via email, push, SMS & more.
- You develop customer segmentation and targeting strategies based on behavioral and lifecycle data for relevant, timely communication.
- You improve CRM performance through data and A/B tests, evaluating business impact.
- You drive cross-functional retention initiatives together with Product, Data, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support.
- You monitor CRM KPIs and derive a prioritized roadmap from them.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Marketing, or Customer Engagement.
- Proven success in increasing customer loyalty and reactivation in a digital marketplace, subscription, or e-commerce business.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and one of the major customer engagement tools - preferably Braze - is a must!
- Strong analytical skills and project and stakeholder management competence, with experience using customer data for informed business decisions.
- Experience with customer segmentation, lifecycle design, and marketing automation.
- Solid understanding of experimentation methods and A/B testing.
- Proficient in data visualization and analysis tools such as Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, and the ability to translate data-based insights into concrete recommendations for action.
