About the Role
Aimé Leon Dore is seeking an Assistant Visual Merchandiser in New York to support the Visual Merchandiser in executing visual merchandising strategies for the flagship store, ensuring alignment with brand identity and product launches while delivering a premium customer and employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing all visual merchandising strategy at the flagship.
- Ensure the strategy aligns with the store’s brand, products, calendar, and target market.
- Assist in sourcing props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
- Install and set up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays, or supervise contractors.
- Change displays to promote new product launches or reflect festive/seasonal themes.
- Ensure uniformity of displays across multiple store locations.
- Collaborate with Retail, Planning, Merchandising, and Ops teams to understand inventory levels and strategy for floor sets and replenishment.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of retail locations, including high-velocity areas and conversion rates.
- Research lifestyle and design trends to inform visual merchandising strategy.
- Assist customers in the store professionally.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising.
- Experience and ability to lead the delivery of high-level customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Incredible attention to detail with the ability to interpret data.
- Ability to work flexible hours for operational needs.
- Experience in the fashion industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Good decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
