About the Role
Creature Comforts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Nurse to lead our nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of care for our animal patients while fostering a supportive and positive work environment. You will play a critical role in enhancing the veterinary care experience by integrating bespoke technology and maintaining our state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Oversee daily operations within the clinic, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with veterinarians and other staff to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and technology
- Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and medications
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to stay current with advancements in veterinary care
Requirements
- Proven experience as a head nurse in a veterinary setting or extensive experience as an RVN that has the strong capability to step into a Head Nurse role
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of veterinary nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work with bespoke veterinary technology
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
