About the Role
The Longevity Show is expanding into the US market and seeking a US-based Event Lead to establish and manage its presence. This role involves shaping the show's US strategy, building industry relationships, driving commercial outcomes, and overseeing event planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow the pipeline of US sponsors, partners, and exhibitors.
- Build tailored partnership packages and commercial proposals.
- Track and report pipeline progress, revenue against target, and partner satisfaction.
- Identify and secure high-profile US speakers for the show's programme.
- Feed US market intelligence, trends, and audience insight into programming decisions.
- Help shape sessions and content formats that resonate with a US longevity audience.
- Coordinate with Founders Forum's broader US team and network to unlock warm introductions.
- Act as the primary point of contact on US soil for the venue, suppliers, contractors, and local vendors.
- Support the UK team with operational planning for the US show.
- Lead onsite delivery in New York, coordinating with suppliers, partners, and the wider team.
- Flag risks, gaps, and market-specific requirements early, bringing local knowledge to operational planning.
- Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, local media, and brands.
- Represent The Longevity Show in the US longevity, wellness, and health-tech ecosystem between events.
- Maintain a live map of relevant US partners, brands, agencies, and exhibitors.
- Keep a pulse on the US longevity/biohacking market, competitor events, and emerging trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a commercial or event leader, ideally within the US market.
- Proven track record of closing sponsorship, partnership, or exhibitor deals and hitting commercial targets.
- Comfortable working independently as the sole on-the-ground US team member.
- Hands-on and operationally minded.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple partner relationships and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel, including to London for planning and team alignment.
- Flexibility around key event dates.
