About the Role

Novelis is a global leader in aluminum recycling and rolling, providing sustainable aluminum solutions. This role supervises and coordinates Operations employees, Coordinators, and Specialists within a Manufacturing Unit.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety culture and implement EHS management system for continual improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
• Lead personnel and equipment to meet production objectives at the highest quality and service at the lowest cost.
• Continuously learn and develop knowledge of manufacturing processes, operations, and quality standards.
• Lead and contribute to process and product improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee all operational activities and housekeeping efforts to ensure safety.
• Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ASI).
• Ensure training and development of all operating personnel to meet TS16949 standards.
• Evaluate skills at appropriate intervals and establish developmental plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Extensive experience managing/supervising others in a complex, fast-paced environment with demonstrated results, preferably manufacturing-based.
• Demonstrated success as a Coordinator/Specialist will be given high consideration.
• Experience in implementing the business plan.
• Understanding of cost and budgetary processes, inventory control procedures, and operational procedures.
