About the Role

GXO Dagenham is recruiting for HGV Category C+E (Class 1) powder tanker drivers to support Breedon Cement. Training will be provided for operating powder tankers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform single drop deliveries (typically 2-3 per shift) from the Dagenham depot to customer sites.
  • Load and discharge powder products under pressure from tanker to silo.
  • Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
  • Ensure required documents are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card.
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
  • No more than 6 current penalty points.

Salary/Compensations

  • £49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)
  • £18.92 per hour
