About the Role
GXO Dagenham is recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers to join their transport team supporting their customer, Breedon Cement. This role offers a chance to develop your career and work on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform single drop pallet deliveries (typically 2-3 per shift) from the Dagenham depot to retail and trade locations.
- Strap down pallets of cement and secure curtains before driving.
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues.
- Provide exceptional service to customers.
- Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
- Ensure required documents are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
- No more than 6 current penalty points.

Salary/Compensations
- £49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)
- £18.92 per hour
Benefits
- Minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay.
- Start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00.
