About the Role
Join VisiConsult, a global technology leader, and work hands-on with cutting-edge industrial X-ray systems. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring safety, reliability, and customer success across a wide range of industrial applications. This role requires 100% willingness to travel, as you will work both from your home office and directly on customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial X-ray inspection systems at customer sites
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system upgrades
- Provide on-site, remote, and phone-based technical support to customers
- Conduct customer training and system acceptance testing
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
- Willingness to travel extensively (100%) within the U.S. and internationally as required by the role
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation, or a related field preferred
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial/automated systems, preferably in x-ray or NDT field
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled systems (Siemens experience is a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and general computer applications
- Hands-on, self-motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently in fast-paced field environments
- Customer-focused team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and well-organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100%, primarily within the U.S. and occasionally internationally
- Fluent English required
- Spanish language skills are a plus
- Must be able to perform the position in compliance with applicable export control laws and customer requirements.
