About the Role
We are looking for a talented Mobile Software Engineer - Android to help build and evolve Curve’s next generation mobile experience. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, consumer-facing features. Champion engineering excellence, continuously improve application performance, mentor other developers, and help shape robust development practices.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create intuitive, consumer-facing features.

Requirements
- Proven experience developing and shipping Android applications to the Google Play Store.
- Strong experience building Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience developing secure, scalable, and high-performance mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of Android architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Clean Architecture and object-oriented programming.
- Deep understanding of Android components including Activities, Fragments, Services, Content Providers, and Broadcast Receivers.
- Knowledge of Android lifecycle management and best practices.
- Experience monitoring application performance and debugging production issues.
- Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Experience collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
- Experience building and maintaining multi-module applications.
- Ability to mentor and support fellow engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
