Responsibilities

  • Create, own, and implement solutions for clients seeking to better serve connected customers and operate always-on enterprises.
  • Become an integral part of the Applied Intelligence team, providing credibility, expertise, and insight.
  • Work with well-known brands and organizations.

  • Solve challenging business problems using advanced machine learning methods like Deep Learning and quantitative analytics.
  • Understand business requirements and support the development of business cases.
  • Run discovery analytics to identify new and innovative opportunities.
  • Partner with developers and engineers to deploy machine learning algorithms for business value.
  • Define approaches to embed and scale machine learning models.
  • Build reusable assets, solutions, and develop best practices.
  • Consult on complex analyses and advanced machine learning methods.
  • Communicate and provide guidance to senior client leadership and teams.
  • Contribute data science expertise to new sales activities.
  • Shape DS Strategy and the delivery of DS solutions.
  • Operate across multiple industries and functions.
  • Develop others by sharing unique knowledge and skillsets.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in data science, machine learning, and business analytics.
  • Practical experience in coding languages such as Python, R, Scala (Python preferred).
  • Proficiency in database technologies like SQL, ETL, No-SQL, DW, and Big Data technologies such as pySpark, Hive.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data (Text, PDFs, jpgs, call recordings, video, etc.).
  • Knowledge of machine learning modeling techniques and model fine-tuning (e.g., XGBoost, Deep Neural Networks, Transformers, Markov chains).
  • Experience using specialized machine learning libraries (e.g., Fastai, Keras, Tensorflow, pytorch, sci-kit learn, huggingface).
  • Demonstrated capacity for reading, understanding, and implementing new machine learning techniques.
  • Experience using Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with specialized visualization techniques (e.g., D3.js, ggplot).
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
  • Awareness of Large Language Models (LLMs) and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly and apply creative thinking.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mastery of problem-solving and solutioning.
  • Proven history and background in statistics/mathematics/macroeconomics.
