Responsibilities

Develop and maintain tax compliance processes for the organization within the context of financial / security services from capital gains taxes, US withholding tax and financial transaction taxes to reporting requirements to German, European and US tax authorities (CRS, FATCA, QI and other local reporting obligations).
Work closely with Product teams to enable the development of financial products, serving as the main point of contact for CRS, FATCA, QI related topics within the organization.
Coordinate with external partners, including financial institutions, service providers and tax advisors.
Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republic’s existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation.

Requirements

At least four years of experience in professional tax services or an in-house tax function.
Experience in the financial services / banking sector with CRS and FATCA exposure.
Reliable personality with high attention to detail.
Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly.
Self-starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-growth organization.
