About the Role
Instrumental in sustaining, refining, and evolving the core L&D offering, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and delivering high-quality, measurable development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously refine existing L&D initiatives, identifying opportunities for simplification and automation.
- Assess L&D needs and recommend external training partners.
- Own end-to-end logistics for all L&D initiatives.
- Curate and recommend high-quality internal and external learning resources.
- Manage the L&D budget with the People Director.
- Maintain and continuously improve L&D content and resources.
- Design and deliver internal L&D programmes.
- Partner with the People Director and People Partners to identify learning needs and translate insights into L&D priorities.
- Assess future skill requirements aligned to Foundry’s 2030 Vision, map gaps, and design targeted reskilling and upskilling programmes.
- Work with the People team to ensure all employees have effective development plans.
- Maintain and evolve Career and People Skills Frameworks.
- Collaborate with managers to increase the use of Annual Personal Development Time.
- Define and implement clear metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programmes.
- Gather, analyse, and apply participant feedback to continuously improve L&D initiatives.
- Prepare and present quarterly L&D reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver engaging internal communications to promote L&D programmes and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance and completion.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness and relevance of L&D programmes.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years’ experience in a dedicated Learning & Development role, preferably within a Technology organisation.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering core L&D programmes for hybrid and globally distributed teams.
- Demonstrated ability to source, evaluate and manage external vendors for targeted, skill-specific training.
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience or strong interest in upskilling and reskilling for emerging technologies like AI.
- Ability to analyse data and generate insights to inform L&D strategy and measure real impact.
- Highly adaptable, with a thoughtful approach to tailoring solutions and approach for the needs of the business and audiences.
- Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships with People Partners to understand, anticipate and deliver against stakeholder learning and development needs.
