Responsibilities

Build and develop modern AWS cloud platforms and infrastructures.
Develop cloud-native solutions and automation with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
Conceive and implement security, compliance, and governance structures, including IAM, monitoring, and landing zones.
Plan and execute migration & modernization projects.
Contribute to modern security and data platform use cases with a focus on automation, analysis, and innovative technologies.
Conduct assessments and develop architecture and implementation concepts.
Support projects from idea to productive operation.
Collaborate closely with customers, architects, data engineers, and cloud experts.

Requirements

Several years of practical experience in Cloud Engineering with AWS.
Experience building and developing modern cloud platforms or cloud architectures.
In-depth knowledge of AWS and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
Ideally, experience with AWS CDK.
Deep understanding of cloud networks, security concepts, governance requirements, and secure operation of modern cloud environments.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon ECS.
Understanding of how modern platforms are built and operated.
Proficiency in Linux and/or Windows systems.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Analytical thinking and structured work approach.
Strong hands-on mentality.
Appreciation for customer and colleague interaction and active contribution to topics.
Fluent German and English language skills.
