About the Role
This role provides administrative and operational support to the Insurance & Risk Management function. It is ideal for an early-career professional or graduate seeking hands-on experience in insurance operations, offering on-the-job training, mentoring, and exposure to core insurance processes.
Responsibilities
- Log and track insurance claims, including maintaining the claims register, assisting in managing claims (PL, EL, Property & Motor), and supporting monthly reporting.
- Manage the insurance mailbox and correspondence, ensuring timely responses, proper filing, and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support documentation for claims and assist with renewals by gathering supporting evidence for claims defensibility, interpreting policy schedules, and assisting with policy renewals.
- Update data systems and provide project support by tracking claims trends, ensuring accurate insurance records, and supporting various insurance projects.
Requirements
- Early-career professional or recent graduate.
- Demonstrated interest in insurance, risk, or property through academic projects, internships, or work experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Motivated, eager to learn with a proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative.
- Experience in a corporate, finance, or insurance environment (even in a support or internship capacity) will be highly regarded.
- Must have and be able to provide proof of Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
- Unable to sponsor Visas.
