About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused mechanical engineer to join our Critical Systems team. You will play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for high-profile projects in the data centre and critical systems fields, both in the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support mechanical engineers in design delivery.
- Manage fees, programmes, and design quality.
- Communicate clearly with project teams, clients, and other disciplines.
- Remain actively involved in the design process and produce deliverables.
- Maintain and build strong client relationships to support repeat business.
- Contribute to work-winning activity by identifying opportunities and supporting proposals.
- Nurture and develop junior engineers.
- Contribute to the wider leadership and development of the team.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Proven experience of client engagement.
- Experience in the data centre field, including a strong understanding of data centre design and delivery principles.
- Consistently demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers to deliver to client expectations in your most recent position.
