About the Role
This role offers fantastic opportunities for Working Holiday Visa holders with Audit experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in the Assurance profession while immersing themselves in Australia’s unique lifestyle and culture. As part of EY Audit, you will be given leading-edge tools and technology to develop your skills and contribute to impactful work supporting clients across diverse industry sectors. Senior Associates in Audit will work alongside the data transformation team to create new custom audit solutions at the forefront of innovation.
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating audits with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues, ensuring audits are executed in compliance with policies and protocols.
- Executing audit processes with an understanding of an entity’s operating environment.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Working Holiday Visa for Australia (with a minimum of 6 months remaining).
- A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
Skills
- Experience in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
- The ability to build relationships with clients, delivering key business and market insights.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to teaming.
