About the Role
The project "Aufsuchende Jugendsozialarbeit an Spandauer Schulen" aims to develop sustainable perspectives for stable educational participation and social inclusion for students in grades 5 and 6 who are experiencing psychosocial stress or family issues affecting their school attendance.
Responsibilities
- Outreach to children and families
- Socio-pedagogical support within the school, family, and community environment
- Conducting clarification processes and case analyses, developing individual support and perspective plans
- Stabilizing school attendance and promoting educational participation
- Close collaboration with schools, school social work, the Regional Social Pedagogical Service (RSD), other support systems, and other providers within the framework of the Spandau School Distance Support Plan
Requirements
- Completed degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or state recognition as an educator
- Experience in youth social work according to § 13 SGB VIII and competencies in outreach socio-pedagogical work
- Experience working with school-averse and psychosocially stressed young people and their families
- Enjoyment of networking and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Independent, structured, and appreciative work style
