About the Role
We are seeking an SAP SD Consultant to join our team for a permanent, full-time position. This role involves supporting, developing, and optimizing SAP processes within the sales environment, with a strong focus on SAP SD.
Responsibilities
- Oversee SAP processes in sales, focusing on SAP SD.
- Manage end-to-end sales processes from quotation to invoicing and integration with adjacent processes.
- Independently handle and plan incidents, service requests, and changes in 1st to 2nd level support with sustainable solutions.
- Support and develop interfaces between SAP SD and connected internal/external systems (e.g., EDI, logistics providers, customer connections).
- Create and maintain system, process, and test documentation, and support validation activities.
- Conduct training and coordinate with key users for a stable, practical, and efficient SAP operation.
- Support digital transformation and actively participate in projects and the evolution of the SAP system landscape.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in supporting, developing, and customizing SAP applications with a focus on SAP SD.
- At least one completed project in SAP SD.
- Sound knowledge of end-to-end sales processes (quotation, order processing, shipping, delivery, invoicing).
- Experience in application management and handling 1st and 2nd level support requests and changes.
- Practical experience in supporting SAP interfaces and collaborating with adjacent modules (e.g., MM, WM, EWM).
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills.
- Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable field, combined with several years of professional experience as an SAP consultant.
- Structured and self-directed work approach.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.
- Valid driver's license (Class B).
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
