About the Role

Join our team as an intern at the Berlin capital studio, contributing to daily news operations across TV, digital, and social media platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in journalistic tasks, content creation, and cross-media production.

Responsibilities

• Support the newsroom in daily journalistic operations.
• Conduct research and prepare content for TV, digital, and social media.
• Contribute own ideas for content development.
• Accompany reporters on shoots and assist with production.
• Potentially conduct own smaller shoots and interviews.
• Work with modern Mobile Journalism workflows.
• Participate in the production of cross-media content.
• Assist in creating social media content.
• Gain insights into cross-media production and publishing processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student seeking a mandatory internship (3-6 months) or voluntary internship (up to 3 months).
• Interest in political, societal, news, and magazine topics.
• Desire to work in journalism where relevant stories from the capital are created daily.
• Ideally, possess initial practical experience in journalism, editorial work, or social media.
• Enthusiasm for cross-media storytelling and developing content for TV, digital, and social media.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills and initiative.
• Quick comprehension and strong communication skills.
• Enjoy working in a team, demonstrating flexibility and high commitment.
• Very good German language skills.
• Good English language skills.
