About the Role
The Senior Fundraising Manager – Bequests is accountable for the Donor Lifecycle Strategy to build a sustainable portfolio of considerers, intenders and confirmed bequestors. This role aims to attract new donors, build retention, loyalty, and grow lifetime value with these bequestors to increase revenue for Red Cross. The role has accountability for bequests strategy and annual planning, significant revenue and expenditure budget, using data and insights, segments and journeys to deliver end to end execution for acquiring new supporters, driving retention, and growth. You will work collaboratively with peers in marketing and communications utilising multi-channel, multi-touch direct marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Donor Lifecycle Strategy to build a sustainable portfolio of bequestors.
- Manage bequests strategy and annual planning.
- Oversee significant revenue and expenditure budgets.
- Utilize data and insights, segments, and journeys for execution.
- Acquire new supporters, drive retention, and foster growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications peers.
- Utilize multi-channel, multi-touch direct marketing.
Requirements
- Substantial Bequest Fundraising Program management experience.
- Proven success in people management and leadership.
- Experience contributing to a leadership team.
- Substantial experience managing large income and expenditure budgets to achieve measurable outcomes and performance goals.
- Strong track record of developing and delivering effective acquisition, retention, and growth strategies.
- Success leading multi-skilled teams, setting, and managing revenue and engagement objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in a Direct Marketing environment.

Salary/Compensations
- from $130,000 + super + salary packaging
