About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) / Scrum Master for PlayStation's online services, you will lead team operations and drive program execution within a diverse, globally-connected development organization. This role involves fostering an open culture where ideas are welcomed and contributing to the delivery of value to PlayStation users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead Scrum team operations, facilitation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage project plans, progress, and issues as a Technical Program Manager.
- Coordinate and drive projects involving multiple teams.
- Promote communication and collaboration with Japanese and international development teams.
- Support development and operational projects for data platforms, common services, and development infrastructure.
- Achieve consensus and drive projects with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience working with international teams using English.
- Experience leading small to medium-scale projects (involving 5-10 teams).
- Experience with software development using Scrum.
- Experience in a team lead or project lead role.
- Communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive projects.
- Experience as a Scrum Master driving team operations and improvements.
- Agile-related certifications such as Scrum Master.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud, data platforms, common services, or development infrastructure.
- Knowledge and experience with server applications and network services.
- English proficiency sufficient for business with international teams.
- A passion for large-scale agile development and proactive improvement.
- Enjoyment of collaboration with diverse members in a global environment.
- A focus on communication and team-based problem-solving.
- Leadership skills to involve others and drive projects forward positively.
