About the Role

Corpay is seeking a Senior CRO Manager to drive digital customer journey improvements, identify conversion opportunities, and optimize website performance to increase lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue. This role reports to the VP Digital and collaborates with various internal teams and external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRO roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities within customer journeys across websites, landing pages, forms, and digital campaigns.
  • Prioritize optimization initiatives based on business impact, effort, and strategic importance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of conversion funnels across acquisition, engagement, and retention stages.
  • Design, implement, and manage A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalization initiatives.
  • Create test hypotheses based on quantitative and qualitative data insights.
  • Ensure statistical validity and rigorous testing methodologies.
  • Analyze test results and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on key conversion metrics, including conversion rate, bounce rate, engagement, lead quality, and revenue impact.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Hotjar, Clarity, Contentsquare, FullStory, or similar platforms to uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct funnel analysis, user behavior analysis, and customer journey mapping.
  • Develop dashboards and performance reporting for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve user experience and reduce conversion barriers.
  • Leverage customer research, usability testing, session recordings, heatmaps, and surveys to inform optimization decisions.
  • Ensure digital experiences are aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Manage and work with our strategic agency to shape the CRO strategy and coordinate delivery.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Design, Development, Sales, and Data teams to implement optimization initiatives.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-backed recommendations and business cases.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for experimentation and conversion optimization best practices.
  • Manage CRO and experimentation platforms.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that support testing, personalization, and digital optimization.
  • Ensure tracking, tagging, and measurement frameworks are accurately implemented.
  • Support improvements across key performance indicators, including website conversion rate, lead generation growth, CPA reduction, landing page performance, experiment velocity, revenue generated from optimization initiatives, funnel abandonment reduction, and customer engagement improvements.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Conversion Rate Optimization, either agency or client side.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in conversion rates and business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex datasets.
  • Experience with experimentation and testing platforms such as Convert, Optimizely, VWO, or similar.
  • Proficiency with web analytics tools including Google Analytics (GA4), Hotjar, and Clarity.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, customer behaviour, and digital customer journeys.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and collaborating with development teams.
  • Strong project management and operational skills, with a proven track record of coordinating multiple teams to deliver initiatives and meaningful results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with strategic agency partners and cross-functional teams across the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to connect optimization activity to lead generation, customer acquisition, revenue, and wider business outcomes.
