About the Role

The Business Impact Manager will support the growth of Oliver Wyman APR by enabling regional management activities. This role will primarily support regional Practice Leaders in facilitating business development and internal management activities, driving global and regional processes, compliance, and best practices. The role is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, recommending and implementing improvement plans, and tracking key processes and KPIs, specifically supporting the Financial Services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of day-to-day Practice activities for Industry and/or Capability heads.
  • Act as a central point of contact for practice staff, support departments, and EAs.
  • Perform PMO responsibilities, track actions, and ensure follow-up.
  • Support practice heads with communications and material development for meetings.
  • Drive and coordinate the execution of special projects aligned with Practice strategic priorities.
  • Serve as the point person for Practice Partners and external Partners seeking practice information.
  • Plan and drive key internal practice meetings, including partner meetings, all-staff updates, events, and offsites.
  • Set meeting calendars and agendas for key internal meetings and larger Partner group gatherings.
  • Proactively prepare meetings, including ownership of materials.
  • Manage the business to-do list, prioritizing tasks and initiatives.
  • Track actions and ensure follow-up.
  • Liaise with Practice Partners and internal support teams to ensure compliance and best practices in relevant processes.
  • Work with Finance and market teams to ensure proper management and tracking of investment budget, investments, and return.
  • Coordinate with Finance, KM, and Talent Analytics to develop and produce MIS for strategy and internal brand building.
  • Provide specific client/Business Development (BD) support, driving Practice commercial effectiveness priorities.
  • Support and work closely with the Asia BD Manager to leverage pipeline and analyze data for process improvement.
  • Work with different departments within OW and MMC to support client requests.
  • Coordinate with KM, Marketing, and designated leads on commercial priorities.
  • Drive the market Key Client account management strategy and discipline.
  • Manage RFP processes.
  • Act as a champion for regional and global best practice and process implementation for the practice.
  • Support the APR BIT team with practice-level process implementation, roll-out, and follow-up.
  • Assist in bringing the practice and partners on relevant change journeys.
  • Work with the events team to set and deliver the Practice social calendar.
  • Monitor informal sentiment and flag issues.

Requirements

  • Strong background in strategic project management.
  • Extensive experience in high-level stakeholder management and team leadership.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • 7+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm, ideally in the financial services sector.
  • Ownership mentality and strong client service focus.
  • Strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage varied work volumes with conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality with experience of dealing with business-critical issues.
  • Experience in creating compelling business presentations.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Resilient with experience of dealing with challenging and senior stakeholders.
