About the Role
ispace, inc. Japan Engineering office is seeking a Radio Management Engineer to develop ITU and Radio License Applications for lunar landers and other spacecraft.
Responsibilities
- Create ITU API and domestic radio license applications for lunar landers and spacecraft.
- Prepare application documents for radio licenses and coordinate with government agencies for ITU radio license applications.
- Act as a liaison with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and government agencies for radio license applications for experimental and space radio stations.
- Assess radio frequency interference and collaborate with engineering teams to plan radio inspections.
- Prepare radio operators for in-flight radio communication activities.
- Conduct on-orbit inspections for final licensing.
- Apply for CCSDS SCID through JAXA to SANA.
- Provide technical support to the business team for expanding lunar communication system business.
Requirements
- Experience with radio license applications, ITU/API submissions, and MIC radio license applications.
- Proven track record in establishing radio stations.
- Native level Japanese proficiency.
- Business level English proficiency.
