About the Role

As a Senior FP&A Analyst at MILES, you will be the strategic financial co-pilot for a rapidly growing business unit, shaping the financial roadmap through budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth analysis of unit economics and cost allocation. This high-visibility role requires advanced financial modeling and technical skills to translate complex data into actionable business steps, influencing pricing, scaling, and critical decisions.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the Subscription P&L end to end, including revenue recognition, provisioning, direct cost allocation, and monthly contribution margin.
Manage the Subscription budget and rolling forecast process, acting as the key stakeholder point of contact, building the model, challenging inputs, and delivering variance analysis with forward-looking commentary.
Define, build, and own the Business Unit KPI framework, tracking key metrics and translating numbers into clear, actionable insights for management.
Support pricing and promotional decisions by modeling the P&L impact of changes.
Maintain and improve the group cost allocation model, clarifying allocation keys, documenting methodology, and ensuring consistent application.
Design and own the unit-economics framework, including calculation methodology and process.

Requirements

5–7 years in FP&A, controlling, or financial analytics, ideally in a data-heavy environment.
Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of analytics tools (Python or R, Power Query, Office Scripts) to independently query data.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities, including driver-based models, scenario analysis, and multi-entity structures.
Solid grounding in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Strong commercial and accounting fluency.
Curious, strategic, and proactive working style with a hands-on mentality.
Business-fluent in English.
Business-level German.
