About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Electrician to support the Tip Top Charmhaven Team. Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality maintenance services are provided to plant and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled and planned by the Reliability leadership team
- Actively involved in maintenance planning, plant improvements, and projects which will improve plant availability and efficiency
- Assist with call outs as required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements, directions, and legislation and work in accordance with the company quality systems and other relevant policies and procedures
- Conducting root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow-up on identified actions
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with plant and machinery that may be mechanical or electrical in nature
- Ensure the correct operation of machines and minimize downtime, including reactive breakdowns and scheduled preventative maintenance
- Working with suppliers to ensure adequate spare parts are kept on site
Requirements
- Must be Australian electrical trade qualified with current electrical license
- Ability to be autonomous and also comfortable to work closely with team members and other staff on site as and when required
- Electrical background with proven experience in an FMCG industry will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI preferable
- Exposure in MEX computerised maintenance management system will be advantageous
- Pre-employment screening may be required, including a medical (with drug & alcohol testing) and a criminal record check
