About the Role
This role involves coordinating services and interfaces for complex infrastructure projects, focusing on site, design, and contractor interactions. It's a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working closely with delivery, bridging technical input with practical site needs, and resolving issues proactively.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of inground services across a live data centre project, resolving issues, managing interfaces, and maintaining progress.
- Coordinate site inspections relating to inground services and follow through on actions, findings, and agreed outcomes.
- Manage and respond to RFIs, drawing on input from discipline leads where required.
- Coordinate contractor queries and help resolve site, design, and services interface issues.
- Facilitate utility and services coordination across the project, connecting technical advice with delivery realities.
- Maintain clear communication and records for project teams.
- Represent WSP professionally with contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Support general transport utilities work across wider large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Work with utility authorities to secure approvals.
- Manage the design coordination of multidisciplinary packages.
- Support the delivery of coordinated utilities packages across complex transport and infrastructure environments.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating inground services, utilities, building services, or infrastructure interfaces on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of site coordination, contractor queries, and RFI processes in a live project environment.
- Ability to work effectively with project managers, discipline leads, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of electrical, communications, hydraulics, or broader utility services.
- Clear communication, strong follow-through, and confidence documenting decisions, actions, and outcomes.
- Proactive, collaborative style and the judgement to balance detail with the pace of project delivery.
