About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead data center projects as part of our business expansion. Japan is a key market for data center investment, and we provide diverse services to investors, operators, and tech companies. This role involves managing projects from land acquisition due diligence through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. You will collaborate with domestic and international teams (Capital Markets, Project Management, Engineering, Valuation & Advisory) to drive complex, large-scale data center developments.

Responsibilities

Overall management of new, expansion, and renovation projects for data centers.
Management of project budget, schedule, quality, and risks.
Development of project strategies and advice for clients.
Preparation of project reports and operation of regular meetings.
Management of design firms, MEP engineers, and specialist consultants.
Promotion of design reviews and value engineering proposals.
Support for selection of construction companies and bid management.
Consideration of contract terms and procurement strategies.
Safety, quality, and schedule management.
Coordination with construction companies and vendors.
Response to technical issues and change management.

Requirements

Experience with data centers, semiconductor factories, research facilities, or logistics facilities.
Project management experience at a construction company (general contractor), developer, or PM/CM firm.
Experience in development promotion from a developer or client perspective.
Experience in overall project schedule and cost management.
Over 5 years of practical experience and experience leading entire projects.
Client interaction experience.
Business-level Japanese proficiency.

Salary/Compensations

Annual salary system (paid monthly in 12 installments, including fixed overtime allowance).
